“Kris is awesome! She was my first experience with a midwife and this was very first home birth! She was always reassuring to any doubts or worries I had. What I personally appreciate about her is that you're not just a patient or a folder on a shelf - you're like an instant friend. Our appointments are always enjoyable. She thoroughly explains answers to any questions you may have and has so many great stories! I hated when it was time to leave. During my water birth her tone of voice was always very calm and she was very focused on me and what I needed and all instructions were given gently and calmly. She was always reassuring me and my husband that we were doing great! When my baby was born she was having a little trouble breathing at first and Kris knew exactly what to do, stepped right in, and took care of her right there in front of me. I was never once worried about anything. After the birth and once I was all cleaned up and settled in the bed with my new baby, Kris and Deanna took care of cleanup so that all we had to focus on was having a baby and then resting! I am very thankful for Kris and proud to have her as part of our family now! I would highly recommend using her as your midwife - you definitely won't be disappointed! I am very much looking forward to having her be my midwife again for our next baby!”
