(October 25, 2017, 7:37 am)Dr. Wiles is my eye surgeon. Approximately 11 years ago he performed surgery on my eyes. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
For years I had suffered from what I thought were severe migraine headaches. Once he looked at my eyes, he explained it was my eyes constant straining trying to focus that was causing my headaches and the correction is a simple outpatient surgical procedure.
I checked and he is one of the few eye surgeons in the nation that has achieved the highest level of accreditation from various eye health institutions due to his commitment to quality, skill and ongoing education. Because he is considered one of the best, I chose him to fix my eyes.
Best decision ever. Headaches are gone and have not come back. In fact, I didn't realized what I couldn't see until I saw what I was missing the day after my surgery.
During a post operative exam, he mentioned to me that by examining my eyes, he can tell my overall heath and could see certain 'potential problems' that my regular doctor would not be able to detect yet. This was an amazing insight to me. I had never thought about that before.
Now, his eye care clinics, Wiles Eye Center, provides my entire family the eye care they need. Thanks Doc!
It is my hope this experience overview from an actual patient will help others make an informed decision about who touches their eyes and why they would consider having any medical vision correction "procedure" done by anyone other than Dr. Wlies.
