I love this school and the people in it.
I love this school
Although the building itself is old, there is nothing outdated about the school. The building has been renovated and is very clean and visually appealing, as well as up to date.
The security level is excellent, they have cameras all over the place and in order to access the school you must speak with the Secretary via camera and intercom, and the staff doesn't excellent job at keeping the kids safe and secure.
The cafeteria is great, it offers well balanced meals and a nice selection of food on the menu each day. Everything from lasagna, shrimp, meatloaf, etc., to peanut butter and jelly and even a yogurt and salad bar. Picky eaters will have no issue finding something they will love to eat each day. And it makes it well appealing for parents and family members to come and eat with their kids during lunch period.
Alexander Doniphan was recently rated number 2 in the nation in the listings of the best schools in the United States. Academically the school is well above par, offering a wide selection of levels not simply based on age group and grade, but tailored to each individual child. If your child is a slow learner, they tailor the learning process to fit the exact needs of your child, instead of expecting them to follow along with the group. If your child is advanced, they offer advanced classes and a higher learning curriculum, enabling your child to stretch their minds and spread their wings.
The Staff is amazing. Caring and kind, they truly love their jobs and it shows each day. They keep in contact with parents regarding their child's achievements, needs, and any struggles they observe. They encourage open communication regarding your child(ren)'s education, which is truly essential for your child(ren)'s success.
Alexander Doniphan is an amazing school, and I count myself and my children fortunate that they're enrolled there. I wouldn't want it any other way!
