Dr Rives is a great doctor. I would recommend him to anyone that is suffering from any hand fracture.
Dr. Rives was very attentive and answered all our questions. My rehad therapist comented very posiviely on the great job he did to the surgical site. His nurse is amazing and help make the pre and post-op visits fun and relaxing!

I met Dr. Rives for the first time today. My shoulder pain has increased for the past several months. My general doctor had ordered an MRI which showed a bad tear of a shoulder tendon. I was afraid surgery was a sure thing and Dr. Rive's reviews were less than stellar so I was apprehensive. The staff were absolutely great!! Very friendly, upbeat, positive, reassuring and patient. Dr. Rives put my worries at ease instantly taking all the time I needed to explain my condition. He administered a painless cortisone injection and prescribed six weeks of physical therapy to strengthen shoulder muscles to relieve the pain so surgery will hopefully not be necessary. I appreciate the conservative approach and the great personal treatment I received from the doctor and his staff. I would recommend Dr. Rives for any upper extremity medical problem.
