(September 25, 2019, 10:31 pm)I didn't stay to book a room, I was basically just checking it out. Very nice Marina and all of the slips for the boats were pretty nice. They actually have hotel rooms / kitchenette that literally sits on the water. my next trip down to Truman I will definitely be staying at Bucksaw.
(May 2, 2019, 12:54 pm)Went with fishing guided tour with Josh Jackson. It was rainy and awful day. He professionally made sure we were safe and when able to fish in what we thought would be a short window before storms hit, we got limit. We were able to spider rig with minnows and he attentively knew when to take the hit and suggested with ease. He took care of every pole, bait, and snag. Very instructive as well. Then cleaned and filleted all the fish, bagged and placed in our coolers, without a thought.
We then ate the tenderloin, highly recommended, at Marina. Can't blame them for the weather. They treated us well and we just happened to catch fish!

Friendly staff checked us into our well equipped cabin. The housekeeping staff kept us very comfortable.
We scheduled bucksaw guide service two days, Joshua is a great person that put us on limits of fish.
Marina folks are great and the restaurant has tasty meals and super nice staff. Thursday night AYCE shrimp boil is really good!! We already booked our fall vacation and next spring.
