(December 9, 2018, 10:51 pm)First, Rita did my senior pictures (yes, years ago!) and now, me and my better half did a mini session with her. I knew I wanted her to photograph me and my future partner, but when we all got together, the environment, comfortability and natural love that she brought and captured brought me to tears.
Right after the session, my partner insisted that every life event in our future will have Rita and Heirloom involved! There is nothing and no one comparable. Thank you and I (okay, we) love you! -

(October 19, 2018, 7:36 am)When I had my initial meeting with Rita of Heirloom Photo Company I instantly knew it would be a great fit. What I didn’t know, then, was how absolutely amazing her and Jen would be on our wedding day and how stunning the pictures would be! The entire process of working with them was a breeze. The day of they were helpful, funny, and relaxed but also helped guide all of the bridal party and kept us all on time in a gentle and fun way. I wasn’t stressed at all because everything was totally under control. But the most amazing thing about this photographer is the RESULT - holy moly! We are so in love with our photos. Everything turned out great - from family shots to the most beautiful candid shots. We had our dog there for our wedding day and we got the most beautiful shots of her. We could not recommend Heirloom more highly, and we are extraordinarily happy that we chose them!

(September 11, 2018, 3:53 pm)Heirloom Photo Company has been documenting our lives from the very beginning of our story! We have been so fortunate to have Rita and Jen take photos from when we were freshly dating, to now married with our baby boy!
They both keep the mood very comfortable and in the moment, making it so easy to truly be yourself in front of the camera.
Our most recent session Rita took for us was just a month ago of our family, in our new home. The morning of, I was a mess and felt so unsettled with taking photos in a house that was hardly unpacked! But once Rita came over she made us feel instantly at ease, and a part of every moment that morning. From trying to tackle putting pants on our son, to getting our dog to act like he likes getting his picture taken! I am thankful Heirloom knows what these moments mean to us.
Having Rita and Jen document our lives is without a doubt the most cherished thing we have as a family! And I love them for it. Its such wonderful gift having your story so beautifully told!
They are the simply the best. -

Truthfully, I was worried I wouldn't photograph well, but dang, Jen brought out the best in me and everyone in my party and did it effortlessly! I had no feelings of stress with Jen and Rita. They're fun, honest, and keep you relaxed and capture the most genuine, candid moments. (January 20, 2018, 12:35 am)Hiring Rita to capture the birth of our sweet daughter Charlotte was the best thing we could have done! When my husband and I told our families that Rita would be coming to capture Charlotte’s first moments, they were hesitant, but once they met Rita, they understood. We knew there would be moments that we wouldn’t remember. We knew we both wanted to be focused on what mattered, our sweet baby. We looked at her portfolio and knew instantly she was the one to witness our first born coming into the world. Just from her work alone, we knew she was amazing! Until we met her, Rita has such as sweet and giving personality. We were unsure if she could or would even be willing to drive to St. Louis, but she never even paused when we asked if she would be our photographer! She came in from Kansas City to St. Louis.
She has such a commanding presence with such an eye for detail. She allowed us to focus on our daughter and each other. When we got our gallery back within such a short time period, we were stunned, both at the quick turn around and the level of quality of her work! We both cried when we say the day through her artistic and talented eye and lens of her camera. She captured the pure love and joy of the day between the two of us with our baby. We constantly get compliments on her work! We can’t wait to have more babies and invite Rita along for the ride again.
