It would be nice if there were a sign or something. The entrance for shipping and receiving is on Prospect Ave but you have to follow the road going to the police station around to the left to find the docks. Other than that people are friendly etc.

Not only is this one of the only places where I have been taken seriously as a patient, but every aspect of their service is excellent. From checking in, to intake, to seeing Dr. Metger, to their store, all the way to billing - it is phenomenal. I just got off the phone with the lovely lady at the desk and if the rest of their services didn't make me glad to pay my bill, she alone would. She is so sweet and always a pleasure to talk to. If you are looking for somewhere to manage your vision/vision loss, I strongly recommend them.

I can't say enough good things about this place. Always willing to help both young and old visually impaired people. Everything from picnics for the kids to jobs for adults. I have known many employees that work there some sight impaired, some not, I have never heard a solid true complaint from an employee. Awesome events and fund raisers. Wish I could give them more stars!

Great place to work. I've been with the company 4 years and have never worked at a place that I've enjoyed more. The people are friendly, competent and have a have a passion for helping others. They provide work to over 200 blind individuals in Kansas City and New York City that would most likely be unable to find work elsewhere.

I work at the Kansas City location. I am assigned here by Stivers staffing. I have seen employees treated well by all staff and the blind and disabled workers are happy and very friendly to work with. I am given fair pay for the work performed and payed promptly. The only beef I have is not with Alphapointe it's with the temp company no paid holidays but that's the nature of temp work. The pros are good and safe work environment and air conditioning. The work isn't hard and no real heavy lifting. Cons 3 15 minute breaks makes having a decent meal hard. Other than that all instructions are clear and nobody fails to explain what's needed. I enjoy working here and would definitely consider full time employment. I like this job and most of the people I work with.
