  This is a must visit location for Kansas City. For locals it is a place to gather together and share the love of our city. For tourists, it is a perfect little slice of KC variety. Foodies will find an abundance of flavors to tickle your tastebuds. It is a veritable tour around the world right here in KC. Treasure hunters will be able to cross off their gift lists. History buffs will enjoy the walk through time at the Steamboat Arabia museum and the antique shops down the street. The street performers and bustle of the crafters will remind you of the French Market of New Orleans.

  One of my favorite places in KC. If your a foodie, this is the place for you. Spices, farm fresh produce and some great food. This is a great place to stop off for the odd ingredient or bring the family to stock up for the week.

  Best on weekends, especially in the warmer months. Family friendly. Lots of options and diversity for eating, shopping and grocery. Multi-cultural eateries that let you taste a world of flavors and cuisines. Spices, teas, coffee, garden/farm fresh produce...the list of reasons to visit is long!!!

  Was not easy to get to and the parking is cramped. It is located close to other sites which makes it a plus. The market was interesting. I had several opportunities to try food from different cultures. Everything was delicious. The buildings are historic and you can feel it. Lots of unique gifts to choose from.

  I love going to the open market to buy fresh produce, spices and teas. The Italian deli, Indian market, and huge variety of fresh foods are amazing. Plan to stay a while, it takes some time to see everything, go hungry so you can try the wide variety of very economical outdoor cafe fare. Take some pocket change for the street performers. Enjoy!
