I had my first visit to the office because I was looking for an ophthalmologist and needed Saturday hours. I was surprisingly able to get in within a week of my phone call. All three of the staff I came into contact with - the doctor and two others - were very kind and professional. The office was clean and sanitized between patients. Mask use and physical distancing procedures were consistent. Staff were helpful, and there was no pressure for services that weren't needed. Almost the opposite. There is a wide selection of frames, at reasonable prices. Standard and premium lenses are available. I consider my final cost for the exam and new glasses perfectly reasonable.

The Novacks are great people and sure beat out the chain stores for us

I just love this place. I went in to get a pair of glasses and came out feeling like I had gained some family. The ladies in the front office were very helpful and patient with picking out my glasses because they really do have the largest selection in KC. They were honest when a pair did not look right on me and I very much appreciated that because no one wants to look bad in their new glasses. Dr. Novak was simple and to the point but very proficient at his job. No, he probably is not going to ask what your weekend plans are but he’s not being rude, he’s just an introverted kinda guy. I have seen a couple not great reviews about his bedside manner and let’s not forget that he is an eye doctor. If you need coddled at the eye doctor, that is your problem. . I thought he was wonderful because I do not need coddled, I needed an eye exam, and that’s exactly what I got. I would recommend this place to anyone and am so glad I came here. And I love my new glasses!

I visit the Kansas City Missouri location. I love it, the doctor didn't try to small talk with me. He was straight and to the point. The front desk ladies were so friendly, and so funny. It was clean and they were very good with sanitizing while we were there. Plus they had a wonderful selection on eyewear, and they were so helpful. I actually can't wait to go back and pick up my new glasses just to see them again!!
