“They have been out of items on more than one occasion, which resulted in me waiting for my food to be prepared. The young teenage staff could have better attitudes, they can be a bit rude. Front line customer service is not the best from those teenagers. I usually eat here after 6pm, maybe The daytime staff is better. The management is pretty nice and personable from my experience. Overall good food and okay customer service.”

“Not bad at all. The parking lot needs some TLC. There was a bottle of moscato sitting next to a dirty diaper in the parking area. You can look at that and think, "That's nasty" or you can be a little more positive and realize that somewhere there's a young family who, in the fits of modern parenting, had to balance recreation (moscato) with reality (dirty diapers) and what staple defines healthy choices and nutritious meals more than Church's? I found all the key food groups available: Spicy chicken, regular chicken, honey biscuits, and coleslaw. And all were excellent. The chicken was hot, moist, and left a widening pool of oily stain on the box. The biscuits were almost like a dessert, oozing with a small stream of buttery honey that bordered on cloying. The service was prompt, and our order correct.”

“Front Street isn't the most scenic place in KC - mostly warehouses and industrial facilities - which makes this Denny's location stand out all the more. The restaurant is nearly new, spotlessly clean, and very well run. We were greeted and seated promptly and our order was delivered quickly. They have a light green cream sauce on the sauce bar. That sauce was amazing! I think our order was done in 7 mins. The lady were very pleasant. “When you’re driving up to this place it doesn’t look like it should be a restaurant. It’s very small but probably a little bigger than their original location in the West Bottoms. The server was so nice and the food was great. Price points were extremely reasonable. We will be back again because I want to try more menu items. FYI: when the menu says “Giant tenderloin,” they mean GIANT tenderloin. So delicious!”
