“Great place (and seems to be the only place) to actually DANCE to country music (two-step, swing, line dance). Great DJ that will keep you on the dance floor. It is smoky and can be hard to find a place to sit at times (go early if you want a seat). The younger, rowdy, obnoxious kids start rolling in around 11 and more hip-hop and less country is played then. Good drinks, fair price.”

“Went to Porky's for lunch and got, "The Sampler." That is enough food to feed three or four depending on appetites. Their meats are good and served without sauce. The variety of meat was very satisfying. I loved their ribs and smoked sausage but the brisket, ham, turkey, and pulled pork were really good also. They do burnt ends on Sunday only. They have three sauces available. I enjoyed the hot which I found to be just right. Full disclosure, I use Cajun spices a lot when I cook. Anyway, the sides complemented the meats perfectly. The place is rustic and operated by really nice people. I was not disappointed and will go back really soon! Unfortunately they are not open during the week; only Friday through Sunday afternoon.”
