“Talk about frustration: went to the DMV in Blue Springs to register and license the motorcycle we purchased at auction a few weeks ago. Title✓ proof of insurance✓ bill of sale✓ certificate of inspection✓ and personal property tax waiver✓ Handed the clerk all of the paperwork and was informed that we could not proceed. The clerk then explains that we needed a bill of sale complete with the VIN, description of the bike AND a signature of the auctioneer. What? Called the auctioneer and he asks to talk to the clerk. He gives her an earful of rather colorful words. And we are left standing there with nothing in hand and time wasted. Got into our car and drive to the next town over where we walked in with the very same paperwork and walked out within 30 mins. with plates in hand. In the meantime the auctioneer contacts the state government who informs him that the paperwork they were requiring from us was not needed. For now on I will gladly drive the extra 15 miles to Sugar Creek to deal with people who know what they are doing.”
