  Very beautiful well maintained park. There is no trash or litter anywhere.

  I have lived in warrensburg, MO for a while now. We have always visited Lions lake for one reason or another. I recently heard about the upgrade they did to the lake. That being they added a fountain near the middle of the lake. OH MY GOSH!!! Just when you thought the lake couldn't get any more beautiful, they added that! It is sooooo beautiful, soothing and relaxing to watch. It definitely is a nice addition to the lake and even better, it changes colors at night! I don't remember who they said make this addition possible but, JOB WELL DONE!

  Could have had a few more amenities with the actual lake.Bit up the trail there is a small playground that is very shaded. Nice rocked trail as well.

  When I was upset I drove to this place. It calmed me down and I was able to face the individuals from a place of calm and not anger. Too bad they were not of the same mindset.

  This lake is nice However the trail around it is a little bit to traverse at times. Other than that great for fishing, and dogs.

Although the Lions Lake Initiative is not currently meeting, it should be recorded for posterity's sake that LLI accomplished its mission to dredge Lions Lake. Thanks to many fundraisers and generous contributions from the Warrensburg community, LLI raised $28,000 towards the dredging project.
