I've always enjoyed Confederate State Park. There's room for kids to play, family picnics, fishing or just a nice quiet walk.

A really nice find, this park & civil war cemetery. Lovely chapel on the grounds and well kept lawns & markers. Including a famous one pictured here.

Such a great experience. Unfortunately, if you dont go you won't learn about their story or how even the Union soldiers help with this area after the Civil War. Wish the church would have been open though
    Very beautiful park.
