  My Rat Terrier ended her battle with Kidney Failure in the middle of the night. I had her 17 years, this was a big deal for me.
  We took her to Rolling Acres as recommended by my vet, Overland Park Veterinary Center, once it opened the next morning. I walked in holding her wrapped up in her blanket and bed. I wasn't greeted with a hello, I was greeted by Karen rushing towards me with open arms. She gave me a big hug. She asked me who this was, I told her Ruby. She gently guided me where to go. They have this nice room to place your animal in while you go across the hall to make the arrangements. Having your best friend pass will always be terrible. But Karen made it a wonderful and beautiful experience. I did a private cremation, they have a very thorough system. I received her with a beautiful urn a few days later. As much as I wish I could have her back, I have peace knowing we took her to a place who will care for your animal with love and treat them with respect and dignity.
  As we left, I was able to appreciate how beautiful the property was.
  I even received a card in the mail signed by the staff. It meant a lot to us.

  Very caring staff.. The even offer grief counseling for those who have lost a loving pet. This is a beautiful place for people to bury their pet if they do not have a place at home. They take their time when making arrangements..very peaceful surroundings.. And they allow you time to say goodbye. . Great place.

  The staff are always friendly and go above and beyond to help you with the loss of your pet. They offer grief counseling in group or one on one settings. They offer burial or cremation services. They take great care of the property, it's nicer than some human cemeteries.

  They are the best. We have taken our furry family members here since 2008. They respond quickly and are always sympathetic. I have always walked away with the feeling that my dog is being cared for with the same respect shown a human. Thank you for the service you are providing.

  I'll never again question the difference that a caring person/business can make. I discovered this place several years ago while starting to plan for the moment that every pet owner dreads, but I didn't experience it first-hand until a couple weeks ago after we had to put our sweet cat, Sissy, to sleep. We were devastated when we walked through the front door. And then we met Karen. She took the time to listen, let us grieve, talk, think, share stories, spend time with Sissy, etc. And there was no pressure whatsoever!! She let us decide what we wanted, on our terms, and in our own time. While we were still sad it was such a great relief to know that we were leaving Sissy's remains with someone that we knew would take care of her and treat her with dignity. We felt such a peace when we came back to bring her remains home with us and they did such a nice job of packaging them for us to bring home. I can't possibly thank Karen and Rolling Acres enough. They made a horrible moment better than it might have otherwise been. I hope to not need their services for some time, but when that moment comes, I won't hesitate for a moment in going back. Thank you!!!
