  I discovered this wonderful store while browsing the area with my wife, and ended up purchasing her a vintage watch while there. And while I love the store and the collection of vintage watches, and enjoy browsing the selection online, I have met no end of frustration regarding customer service. I have called multiple times, leaving messages, and emailed multiple times regarding availability of watches, having potential repairs done there, and possibly have some watches placed there on consignment. I never received a single call back or returned email. The one time I was able to reach the store over the phone, it was sales staff that answered and they were indeed very pleasant. They instructed my to text pictures of potential consignment watch, which I did. However, have not yet received a response in almost a week. Summation - great store, great collection, but that customer service really turns me off.

  Firstly, the name. Cool Vintage Watches might be the best name for a shop ever. It fits the bill perfectly too. This place oozes cool. Everywhere you look: cool thing. Another cool thing. So much more than watches. Vintage nic-nacs and do-dads everywhere. Plus a pretty solid selection of records and even some stereo equipment. And the watches. So many cool vintage watches. Go figure, right? The only thing, is that prices are premium. Rightly so. This is a premium shop. Just look at it! Not only are you buying a watch, but you’re buying a brand. Plus the owner stands behind what he sells. Find that on eBay. If you’re going in for a repair, prepare to wait a couple weeks, as watches are not repaired in house. That being said, the job still gets done and if it isn’t done right, take it back and it will be. Good shop. Good owner. Places like this are few and far between, so go support it.

  John is equally as amazing as his collection. If you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind gift for someone who is impossible to buy for, John knows exactly what you need. I can’t find a 10 star option or I would give him and his store 10 stars! Superb place to shop and hang out. Thanks, John! You’re amazing!

  This store is the best place to buy a gift for a guy! I bought my son a handmade wallet for his sixteen birthday that will last him forever. My husband loves one of a kind cuff links and John has tons. If been a customer for two years and counting.

  Cool vintage watches is unique and fun shop. It is nestled in downtown parkville right next to the coffee shop. I stumbled upon this store after browsing all the other shops. Wow, was I impressed! From the vintage signs to modern travel accessories I couldn’t stop exploring! The shop owner is extremely helpful and definitely knows his hand at watches. I purchased not only a vintage watch piece for my husband, I was able to buy myself a new wood cutting board. I love this shop and will continue to return!
