(August 16, 2018, 12:24 pm)I've enjoyed my time e here... Near the Rosecrans Airport, St Joe, a hidden island of Missouri tucked in a wee spot of Kansas near Elwood. The Rosecrans diner serves great affordable meals coffee with refills or an egg to order are under $1. The tranquility of the Authur Dupree conserve, visual ambiance... I've watercolor a few paintings, rendered both black & white sketches, did kumihimo--Japanese wheel braiding for necklaces and bracelets and met a few terribly fine folks while here. Be like Walden, travel the unused path, embrace nature---God's truest temple. Enjoy

(April 22, 2016, 9:19 am)A great place to hike and hunt. Lot's of turkeys, some squirrels and plenty of bunnies. Nice place to introduce your kid to hunting or hiking. The web site and map show camping sites, but they are not clearly marked there.
