Sushi Sen

Got there right at opening in the evening. Food was good. Service was great. We were some of the only people there so I can't speak to the atmosphere. Personally I love being alone in a restaurant. But others might prefer to have more people around.

Great relaxed sushi place conveniently located by Schnucks Lake St. Louis. Food was excellent, prices affordable and service was very pleasant and understanding when I accidentally spilled a glass of water. Will definitely come again.

Came for a Friday lunch

I ordered the lunch plate with shrimp tempura & a California roll (lunch dishes come with salad and soup) and a caterpillar roll

Pros:
-The service. The waiter was very friendly, helpful, and efficient
-The food was really good! I really enjoyed the sushi roll, it was very fresh. I added spicy Mayo to my rolls

Cons:
-The paper plates & plastic utensils. It made it very hard to eat the sushi in one piece because the rice kept sticking to the plate. Considering the sushi rolls average around $10 each it should be plated on a real plate.

Great sushi. It’s made to order so you’ll need to be patient.

We have been coming here for years and they never disappoint! Food was delicious, the tea was nice and hot, as well as the sake for those who wanted that instead. Truly a gem; please go check them out!
