It's well kept, has on-site service, gas dock, boat store, shower house, covered slips, and the owner is there pretty much every day should you have any issues. Polestar is a nice quiet spot to keep your boat yet it's close to islands where you can beach. Restaurants and bars that are accessible by land or water are a short drive or sail away. If you prefer a marina with loud music and endless partying this is probably not the spot for you.

(December 8, 2018, 12:14 pm)Great location for boaters in MO to capitalize on the Illinois and Mississippi River. Also very close to Grafton. Highly suggest keeping your boat here.
(August 31, 2017, 9:08 pm)The owner is very nice and keeps the grounds and docks in excellent shape. Also willing to work with you on your specific dock space and lift accomdations. The water level is good for the area so we could get our boat off the lift when the neighboring dock's boats were all stuck in the air.
