Visited on a weekday, my friend and I were the only ones there so it was nice and quiet. There was lots of interesting information on lewis and clark and their expedition. I didn't know anything about them so it was fun to learn about their journey.
Very interesting for our group. We are well instructed on the Lewis and Clark expedition arrival at the pacific ocean, but knew little of expedition start. We especially liked the replica keel boat.
Remarkable.
So much to see. Plan a few hours. Description of a pc of history that should not ever be forgotten. We didn't take care of the already settled Native Americans. But the white man wouldn't have survived without their help. Lots to learn. Great gifts to buy
This is a small museum. They do a good job illustrating the journey of Lewis & Clark. There are statues of Seaman throughout St. Charles. If you visit the museum you'll understand why!
Extremely sweet staff with. Nice little gift shop. The actual museum was much smaller than expected, but the longboat was fascinating. Right on the Missouri river, the place gives you a perspective on what the travelers went through. Plus you can earn the NPS Lewis and Clark Junior Ranger Badge.
