(May 5, 2021, 5:42 pm)I really appreciate the lady that was greeting at the front door. When I walked in, she welcomed me and offered me a mask. Unfortunately because of an honest to God medical disability, I'm unable to wear one. When I told her that I couldn't, she cheerfully said with a smile, "Happy shopping!"
I didn't know what to expect since I only go out in public when I have to due to my condition. I've been asked to leave places because of it, making me feel very isolated and ashamed. Today, I needed to shop for a Mother's Day gift and no one belittled me here. While I still hurried to find a gift, it felt good to be able to do a little shopping. Discrimination comes in all forms, Marshall's, thank you for not using my disability against me, you have no idea how it made my day! ❤
