I know first-hand many of the people who work/ have worked or and/or volunteered there. These folks do good work all year long , especially during the holiday season when money is tight and blessings are few for many people. Consider supporting them in any way you can.

A very beautiful church and a very welcoming congregation. My family and I were very pleased to be welcomed into the Sunday celebration of the Mass.

I can only speak to the fish fry. We go here because it's close to our house and it's a super cheap good fish dinner. The fish is pretty good, and this year they introduced fish tacos which are smaller but quite tasty. The staff for the fish fry is generally nice. They ran out of fish and sides one week we went an hour before closing, but were pretty accommodating about it.

The patrons have been getting a bit more unfriendly lately, but I can't really discredit St. J&A for that. Examples: not moving at all to accommodate someone with a full tray as you squeeze through the narrow space between tables, getting annoyed if you ask them to pass the salt or pepper, acting suspicious if you try to offer them your dessert tickets because you're way too full, etc.

But the desserts are bountiful..they're donated by the patrons there and -- wow. Some people really know how to bake. Every once in a while you get a real gem and think "how did they even do that?"

The line is pretty long but worth the wait. Get a beer or soda in line for a decent price while you wait. The last time or two we want, there was a beer & wine cart that came around while we waited.

Overall a good experience for fish fry. But we aren't Catholic so we can't speak to the church.
