  The smothered pork chops and green beans are so delicious. I can't even tell you. Can't wait to try more of the menu.
  This place is off the chain. It is so good. I'm dying to go back. Love it.

  Some of the best fried chicken I’ve ever had. No cap. Ribs were so good too when ya bite they strip clean off the bone! And that Mac and cheese was delightful I wish the sides were bigger tho

  Friendly atmosphere and tasty food. The fries and ribs were delicious. Would definitely go back to try other items.

  Delicious soul food cooking! Ordered the chicken dinner with candied yams and macaroni and cheese. Everything was home cooked and plentiful! There was a wait which was to be expected because this is not a fast-food establishment. My wife and I ordered the same with the exception of the collard greens she had which were cooked using turkey! All dinners come with a drink. Total cost was about $23! We both left pleased and stuffed! A hidden gem in the Compton Heights neighborhood.

  The people here are very friendly and accommodating. It takes a few minutes to get your food because its made fresh to order. I'll definitely be back.
