I have been a patient of Dr. Windsor since September of 2008. His approach and plan of action is amazing. I wouldnt be alive if I hadn't gave him a chance. The criticism I have is as follows:
Doesn't accept insurance of any kind.
Office visits and UA's will run you north of 1700$ yearly, not including medications.
Other than those two things, its great. If you are suffering from addiction of any kind, give him a shot. I am closing in on 14 years sober because I did.

I was fortunate enough to be one of Dr. Windsor's patients from October of 2008 to November of 2010 (unfortunately my then-husband had to transfer out of state for work). He is absolutely amazing in every aspect of his work; a very knowledgeable physician who truly cares about his patients. I wasn't seeing him for weight loss, but when I started to gain weight he noticed and addressed the problem. I listened to and did everything Dr. Windsor told me to do and was therefore very successful in my treatment with him.
Even now, 11 years later, I tell people "If Dr. Windsor told me to jump off a bridge, I would jump off a bridge." Of course he would never tell anyone to do that, but that's how much I trust him. No other doctor I've ever seen has come close to the amount of knowledge, the attention to detail, or the degree of caring Dr. Windsor shows for all of his patients.

I have been seeing a doctor for opioid dependence for five+ years now. After a few visits Dr. Windsor, a true professional who gives the best care you could receive from an addiction specialist, (or any doctor providing m.a.t) I saw why my recovery wasnt progressing with the other physicians I had seen. Most patients receiving a prescription for buprenorphine know most doctors could care less if you keep swimming through recovery or relapse & never see the next appt. Windsor & his lovely wife Virginia give you the care, & tools one needs to fight the disease of addiction and truly care about their patients. I cannot thank them enough for what they do for people like me who decide they would rather have a life than be a slave to a chemical each day. If you are thinking it's time to live another way & you're not sure where to go or start, look no further. He will show you that you can be so much better off without using.

Dr Windsor is as good as it gets for addiction treatment. Most Suboxone dr's shuffle patients in and out the door like cattle worried only about their bottom line. However, dr windsor takes his time and truly cares about his patients well being. He is a good man. His wife/receptionist Virginia is great as well. Youre in good hands with this experienced/reasonably priced, addiction specialist.
