Ann Mracek Studio

Ann Mracek is a great musician and educator, and a wonderful person. I would encourage anyone near her to take lessons with her. I’m a former student of Ann’s who has become a professional musician and educator, and I owe a great debt to her for her help.

Ann is an excellent musician. I am amazed at her talent in music and arts; I can tell she holds a deep passion for piano. Her teaching style is responsive and adaptive to many age groups, even including children as young as 4 years. In the studio, students will not only learn how to play the piano, but also gain knowledge about the composition of music, musicians and a variety of musical cultures. She exposes her students to performances by holding recitals twice a year. She is a very organized and kind teacher who is willing to work with students at their own pace in a progressive manner. I've been learning how to play the piano with Ann for 8 years and she has always been encouraging and supportive. Moreover, she has become my inspiration to continue playing. The art of playing the piano is not an easy task to master and will take many years to accomplish; though at times very challenging, it has been a fun experience especially with Ann as my teacher!
