  UPDATE: I raised the stars as I was now refunded my deposit and application fee, which is more than I asked for, although I do not know I they changed their policy for refunds upon choosing not to lease. Make sure you find out specifically what fees are non-refundable.
  Initial review:
  The staff who showed me the property were nice and informative. However, my plans changed after I had submitted my application and was unable to move there. I can understand them keeping the admin fee and the fee for the background check, but not refunding me the security deposit is just wrong. And senseless. I asked the person who showed me the property how one gets their security deposit back and her response was, "After a lease is up, we inspect the unit and if there's no damage, the security deposit is refunded." Me-"Well I didn't do any damage so can I have my security deposit back?" Her-"No. We can't do that." Highway robbery. Don't rent here. They also raised their rates significantly since the fall of 2021 and there is no rent control in Lake Elmo.

  We just signed our lease with the Springs at Lake Elmo. This property is a beautiful, new community and we are so excited to move in. Donnell was so patient with us, great to work with, and gave us a great tour of the grounds in the freezing cold! The amenities are designed well and we are excited to use the gym and grill by the outdoor pool this summer. It seems very dog friendly. They do DNA testing on your dog to insure that people are picking up after their dog which is a HUGE perk for someone who likes a clean facility and grounds. Overall very impressed so far!

  We moved here because every other community had either a breed restriction limiting our German Shepard or a weight limit that he would be over. Our building has a massive dog park and is really close to everything. The staff has been nothing but amazing to us even when we ran into issues, they were quick to solve our maintenence requests and Jon is nothing but polite and helpful. Brianna and Deanna helped make this process so stress free. We appreciate you all.

  Springs at Lake Elmo has been such a great place to live! We have been here for two months so far and the staff is super responsive to any needs. Our neighbors are also great. Springs is super dog friendly. We looked at some other places around the area but nothing beat the Springs, especially given that you can choose to have your own garage spot attached to your unit!

  We have been here since May and it has been awesome from day one. Drew and Brianna are always very friendly and helpful no matter the question or concern,always willing to listen. Jon is also very friendly and willing to listen to concerns about maintenance issues. Great place to live neighbors are always friendly when we see each other in passing. Glad me made this choice!!🙂
