(May 23, 2017, 11:09 pm)I've tried most of the donut shops in St. Louis, and Donut Stop is in a close battle for being the best one! They don't make anything super fancy, but still manage to have an overwhelming selection of donuts. The raised donuts are perfectly soft; cake donuts have a nice, moist texture; filled donuts have a good balance of dough to filling, and are not overly sweet. Not a single donut that I have tried here was short of excellent. To my fellow donut connoisseurs visiting St. Louis, don't hesistate to make that trip to South County. You won't be disappointed!
