“Many many friends & family members placed to rest in the old cementary there. Sad to say however a few of the headstones are missing from some graves & have not been remarked & a couple headstones had fallen over off there cement footing & lay broken still in front in the same manner as you could assume it fell at the time it occured. Church is in desperate need of repair although still fully functioning currently to this day...needs new roof, chimney repair, window repair...all things observed from outside..do not know interior condition I did not attempt to enter the church chapel itself. Surely Methodist church systems could attempt to at least restore to preserve this very unique old time church & cementary even for historical purposes.”
