“My son has been at DGN for two years and he is one of the youngest stroke residents they have. The staff put me at ease from day one, he was on hospice and he has recovered the staff has made him feel like he's part of their family. They allow him to assist with some of their task making him feel useful. I was very worried about the quality of care he may receive they have treated him well. The staff communicates with me no matter how big or small. Considering this may be his permanent home I am at ease knowing this is where he will be. My son enjoys the bond he has established with the staff, I enjoy watching the interaction between him and the staff, he calls each of them by name, they also provide him with treats from time to time. No place is perfect and there is staff turn over like any other work place, I can honestly say DGN gives their best. They are truly my essential workers HEROES,”

“My mother and I toured several facilities. She did not care for the bigger senior living facilities at all. Then we toured Spencer Place. Half way through she turned to me and said "This feels like home". Three weeks later she moved in and has been there almost 5 months as I write this review. She loves everyone there and has her group of friends that keep her busy all day long. Staff is very caring, knocking on the door at meal & activity time to make sure all stay engaged. Many times when I visit, mom is too "busy" or in the middle of an activity to talk with me. That is just perfect, she is having the best time and is well taken care of by staff. I couldn't wish for more than that.”
