“This is a really extraordinary optical shop. Paula gives amazing customer service and expertise. She advised me on a pair of lenses I had gotten set elsewhere (the shop I had come from had botched the job), and she gave me detailed guidance on how to have a conversation about replacing the lenses and why they weren't right. I ended up buying a pair of glasses from her and she spent about an hour with me helping with fit etc. of the lenses when I chose, and the glasses were perfect when I picked them up. I am also considering a secondary glasses purchase and she gave me terrific detailed advice as well as highly personalized service. When you have someone return your call at the end of the day when they can be clocking out and going home, and they spend 30 minutes on the phone with you to be of service, I say that their work and dedication should be congratulated. “Wow. I am so incredibly thankful that I was told about this place. I have a few dental issues because I have very high anxiety with the dentist. It is like this dental office specializes in anxiety patients. From the caring and smiling faces at the front desk, to the calming waiting room, to the bird feeders outside the window of each dental chair, and even a blankey while you are in the chair if you get cold. The doctor was so calming and very, very nice. Diana always is there as my hygienist during the scary visits, she is the best and always gets me through the hard part. I am so thankful for her. There is another hygienist who does my normal cleanings and I adored her too. I am so grateful for everyone in that office, I now am getting all the dental work I couldn't bring myself to get for a long time and I no longer am filled with anxiety waiting for each appointment. I would never, ever even think about going anywhere else!”

Matthes, DDS, PC - here in Lee’s Summit...after Spencer & Spencer turned our walk-in of urgency away due to being fully booked, and lacking compassion for her issue. I shared with the two receptionist there...what my daughter had been dealing with over the weekend- the same story I shared with Spencer & Spencer. -a painful wiggley tooth that was ready to come out...but didn’t! Their kindness and concern was immediately apparent! They asked if they could take a look right there at the counter...to get a better assessment of what I was talking about. They immediately had seen the issue. My daughter was in their dentist’s chair within 5 minutes! Doctor Matthes was seeing my child, and extracted the tooth WITHIN the following 5 minutes! My daughter lit up with a smile; she didn’t even feel the removal. That less-than-10-minutes trip meant so much to my daughter! Doctor Matthes and her staff were EXCELLENT! I’m bringing her back for future care, and follow ups!”
