“I have the best library in the world! I've been to the library of congress, but its not better than the Baden Library. I've been to libraries with huge and luxurious meeting rooms and furniture, but its still not better the than the Baden Library. What makes the Baden Library so special? I'm glad you asked. Its the people. They greet you when you come in. The staff help you whenever you need help. I'm 57 years old and I had to tell them that I hadn't seen this level of community and customer service in years. I had been out of town for a few months. My card had expired and I got a new card right away! I got it today and was able to use it today! Baden is bad.”

“Nice quiet building with lots of books and art work and a lovely piano. Plenty of tables and chairs and restaurant available. They have interesting diplays and miniatures to look at too. I like the glass elevators. There is ample parking and the architecture is stately. A nice addition to the college. Enjoyed attending the memorial and lovely reception the college hosted for Doris Kirckpatrick.”

“While this is overall a nice library, especially the staff, number of books and good location, I must sadly say the children's programs can sometimes be annoying. As an avid reader since I was a child, I sincerely understand the need for children to read and/or be read to. That would present itself as a quiet atmosphere. The open room concept for musical presentations is a circus. It's hard to concentrate on deciding which books to check out, or concentrate on computer needs. I would favor an "in the back" location for these activities and keep the general area up front for what it was intended. Not sure if there is another floor or basement to this library, but it would be helpful. I just dont think running day care type programs in the library suits the needs of everyone.”
