Hands Down the absolute best phyciatrist in town. She spends time with patients and does not push a bunch of medications at you and send you out the door. She listens and meticulously follows recovery step by step. She saved my life from PPD and continues to help me if needed. She does not put labels on people and works very hard to keep her practice independent from major health networks. She does this so she can continue to practice refined medicine as she was trained to do and not be mandated to practice according to major networks plans, and formularies. This allows her the freedom to individual care and therapies. This is a huge risk in today’s environment but she fights to keep her practice independent and this is invaluable to the patients she treats. God knows this way of practicing is risky and of no financially beneficial to her what-so-ever. I myself am in the health care field and know the rarity of doctors like Chelsea. She is truely selfless and the best in the entire Midwest!

She has been my provider for over 5 years and she is very smart, not to mention that she has been nominated the Physician of the Year for 2016/2017. Dr. Chesen is very professional and also passionate about women’s studies and needs. I have been so fortunate to be able to call her my Psychiatrist (MD) and because she is so knowledgeable and highly recommended, she is extremely busy but will always take care of needs in a very timely manner. Her office manager Michael Hall is very educated in current medical administration policy and insurance practices, he knows what to do and is incredibly understanding of each patients needs.
