“I’ve done more than 10 hours of firearms training with Shawn, including my concealed carry course. He’s an effective, entertaining teacher who knows his stuff. He can pinpoint areas of improvement for each person and really takes time to answer whatever questions students have. And did I mention he’s funny? I also did an intro to firearms workshop with a group of 7 other women, all at various comfort and ability levels. He gave everyone the individual attention and guidance they needed, and by the end of the workshop, everyone had gained not only confidence, but skill too - it was great watching these women feel empowered at conquering something new.”

“Dr. Peters listened very carefully and took my health concerns seriously. I never experienced long wait times in the office. He didn’t try to diagnose me and recommend medicine based on my symptoms or complaints, but took his time to run labs/imaging and deal with each issue separately to rule anything out. I know it’s his job to have good bedside manner, but in his case, it was genuine (or he’s just extremely patient, because I’m quite nervous and talk myself into a corner). He wasn’t cold and didn’t make me feel crazy or lecture me. I highly recommend this doctor. He genuinely cares, and I’m now I’m finally pain free after he performed a successful surgery because he uses science instead of just making blind assumptions. The nurses and receptionists are also smart, prompt, and friendly.”

“My mom is living at this facility now. It is a lovely place with kind caring staff. Right now during COVID times are difficult and they are doing their best to keep the residents safe and occupied in a safe manner. One big complaint we have though is the food. Since I originally published this I received a call from culinary services at Emanuel Health System. I was very impressed with the response we received and am confident that change will be made. “Good practice facilities (the all grass mini-golf is unique), good clubhouse where you can host if needed, good course (I like 1 & 9). What makes the course five stars is the maintenance. Always plays and looks good. I do agree with some comments on price and distance. Its not the longest if you are a big hitter, and it is to expensive without a deal. That being said here are some of the discounts they offer: Free Round in NE Golf Book ($110), Unlimited Usage Tee for $12 Yearly Card ($150), Yearly 5 Round Punch Card ($100). They are not on GolfNow or any other app that I know of.”

“I toured the facility and brought my mother to tour. I was so impressed with everyone I met from the ladies at the desk, to the staff we passed , the dinning room staff and Kristina the sales specialist. I was treated with such kindness during my search for a assissted living facility for my mother. Many residents stopped to talk to us and made us feel so welcoming. My mother did not pick this facility but it was the place I would have chosen. I cant explain how kind everyone was. I appreciate the time this facility gave me and returned my phone calls promptly .
