Zager Guitars

Best customer service, professional, responsive and prompt, friendly, and extremely accommodating. And more importantly, the sound of of their ZAD900 EVS12 String Acoustic Electric, thus far (third week playing it) is angelic..and beautiful detailing...just thanking my lucky stars that I learned about Zager (Dennis and his son, Dennis Jr, and his daughter, and everyone I communicated with were totally fab), and able to engage in their 52nd business anniversary celebration....Honestly, felt like a throw-back to the 20th century days of authentic customer service from a family-owned shop that sincerely cares about their products and satisfying their customers...

I own a Zagar guitar that I purchased second hand. I saw inside in the hollow sticker that said EZ Play by Denny Zagar.
The guitar was not sold as a Zagar, it was sold as a Sigma by Martin. I was intrigued by the sticker and decided to do some research and what I found out has made me very happy! Dennis, did in 2005ish a small run of guitars for Martin and this is what I purchaced unknowingly. My guitar is hand made by and autographed by Denny Zagar and is a rare find! I am so honored to own it. The playability is fantastic! The sound crisp and clean with great sustain! The action is perfect even at the 12th fret. I say if Denny put this much quality in to a what was supposed to be a low end guitar, IMAGINE the quality of what he produces in his shop for real money, but at a fair price! In real life you get what you pay for! I feel I beat that sinario by getting more than I paid for. If I were not so old I would buy a high end Zagar guitar! Nothing to lose and all to gain! Maybe, I will win one?!

I recently learned of Zager Guitars while doing a web search for guitars for people with big hands. I was impressed by their website, presentation, and accolades from other customers so I bought one of their handmade guitars, a ZAD50CE. The price was amazingly low for such a well-crafted handmade instrument! Customer service was over-the-top excellent and the guitar is a handmade masterpiece. It looks, sounds and plays amazing, and the built-in electronics allow me to plug into amplification and sound warm, rich and absolutely acoustic at higher volumes. A++++!!

I bought a zad90ce it is better than the videos give it. The only thing I changed when I get it i put med. Strings on it made a difference. Compared to my ovation the zagar sounds better.
