“My family member is a resident at the Meriwether. In fact the one spoken of in the horrendous review poster earlier. I have nothing but respect for the caring professionals at the Meriwether. My sister went on an outing her first day there (today) and had a great time. She was dressed warmly in long sleeves and fleece, only being outside from front door to bus door and back. I specifically requested the staff that she be asked to go on outings, she loves to meet and socialize with others. When the other family member left in huff, she took items with her that my sister needed. The staff took it upon themselves to go and buy her pillows, pajamas, slippers, etc so her first night would be a good one. I feel secure knowing she is in good hands of people who care for her wellbeing mentally and physically. The director, Suzy, is a nurse and administrator, and is used to dealing firmly with people who cause a scene and disrupt things for others. Thank you Suzy for not letting this escalate and upset other families and residents. I highly recommend the Meriwether.”

Halfway thru a 17 hour road trip, I started to feel ill and didn't know if I could finish my trip. GPS said this was one of the closest in the area so I stopped in, not knowing what to expect. They were all so incredibly patient and compassionate to my situation. While I was being seen by the nurse practitioner, another nurse brought some water to my dog who was waiting in the car.
