“We went on a Tuesday around 1pm as my son didn't have school so it was REALLY bare of people. The food was really good and was brought to us quickly. The only downside was the cost for everything ended up spending about $90 for 2 hours of bowling for 3 people, 2 beers, one appetizer and 2 baskets of food. The main reason we went here was the price for just the bowling was WAY less than other bowling alleys we looked at for the same amount of time. My son really liked bowling so definitely will go here again.”

“We had a great experience at Voodoo Taco tonight. The staff was very patient, explaining all the different options and helping us choose a good variety. We brought home a good selection of tacos, plus tots and nachos for ourselves and our adult children. Everything we tried was wonderful. The staff also loaded us up with sauces to try. “This was a lively place on a Saturday night. But not busy enough that I couldn't get a seat at the bar. The bartender (Monica? ) was friendly and attentive. I got. a cream ale that was okay - could have used a little more body for a cream ale. The cubano sandwich was really good and the fries were tasty. The sandwich made me so full that I didn't have room for another beer. Maybe next time, and there will be a next time!”

“Fabulous staff and great food! It was busy and they were extremely short staffed, but our waitress was amazing! She kept the flow between several tables running smoothly. She didn't get stressed out and moved around quickly to make sure everyone was taken care of. She got our order in and out so fast. She definitely earned her tip and then some! “Ok, so Amigo’s isn’t ever going to be what you’d call “high quality authentic Mexican.” But, if you grew up with it (and King’s Classic) you’re going to like what you get. Kids meals are a fair price and enough food for the kiddos (two 6/7 year old boys). It’s a shame they don’t have the hot cheese pump any more, and they charge for it now. But you won’t find another fast food place with a wider menu; something for all tastes here. This location was clean and the cashier was very friendly, but we were the only ones eating inside so I can’t speak to the speed of service when it’s busier.”

The ladies there were so sweet, let us sample some chocolates, and had not a single issue with our pup being there. They even held her for a minute while we were still looking at what to get! They have a craft side with gardening decorations, kitchen decorations, utensils, an area for kids, and so much more! It was such a sweet place to have a mini day trip! They were serving lunch which all sounded delicious! We agreed we will be coming back to try it out sometime. Pot roast soup is calling our name!”

“I've been going down the weight loss road since last summer and have lost 70 pounds so far. One thing I've always struggled with is finding healthier alternatives to fast food when we're busy and out and about. I decided to try the food here, and I am SO impressed. I've eaten here just twice but plan to go back more. The food is excellent (I've had the Spinach Artichoke Chicken both times) and the service is super friendly. They have a drive through which is great. They also had all nutrition facts on the label which is good for people watching calories and macros. I've just ordered online and gone through the drive through to pick it up. They even had it ready early one day when I got there a lot sooner. The only thing I will say the sodium on the meal I got was a bit high, but still better than fast food. And they may have lower sodium options. Fully plan on going back and trying different food options. I wish I would have found them sooner. Excellent place!”

“The Caribou Coffee in the Hy-Vee on 178th St. is a fantastic coffee shop. I am surprised there are not more of them in Omaha. They are popular in northern states but are not as common in Nebraska. Caribou is an awesome place to order coffee because they are 100% “clean label,” sell fantastic coffee beans, and create the most delicious drinks. Everything on Caribou’s menu is “clean label.” They do not use any artificial colors, flavors, sweeteners, or preservatives in their drinks and food. And it is certainly noticeable, especially in their caramel and chocolate drinks. They only use real caramel that tastes like fresh, homemade caramel you would find at a local fall festival. Also, they use real chocolate chips for their hot mochas, not powder. The result is a smooth, unified beverage that tastes like a candy bar in a cup. They home-make their whipped cream, too! If you are not interested in the “fou fou” coffee beverages, you should try some of their blends and premium single-origin coffees. Blends like Mocha Java, Mahogany, and Caribou Blend are expertly roasted, and single origins like their Columbia are fantastic. Currently, they are selling their La Minita Peaberry, a premium single-origin coffee they release once a year. So, snag a bag before they sell out! “If you are looking for fancy this may not be the place for you. If you are looking for authentic "Mexican" food, go in, sit down and order, I don't think you'll be disappointed. The menu is fairly typical of most Mexican restaurants that have had to modify their food in order to appeal to the American palate. The staples of beans and rice were fresh, hot and well seasoned. The entrees were done well and the servings were generous. More than half of the patrons were Latino... Always a good sign. Adelitas is small enough that the dishes are made to order and can be prepared exactly as you like. The restaurant must have been a gas station in the distant past, aside from the two overhead doors, the conversion is complete. The staff was very attentive, quick to help, and kept things clean. They also have an ice cream counter which I didn't try as it was 14° outside. Overall a nice experience. Locally owned and operated. Don't let the facade fool you, it's the food and people that count.”

“Got delivery last night and it was perfect. The burrito is the size of my forearm (which is a great thing- plenty of food for the price) and they load on the veggies, which I appreciate. The loaded fries were fantastic- highly recommend trying the half cheddar sauce and half pepper jack sauce. The philly was on point and the chicken burrito (always my favorite) was hot and delicious. One of the few restaurants I trust enough to get as delivery because they never mess it up.
