“I have been here a handful of times and it’s always the best. I’ve had the creamy garlic chicken breast (picture), meatloaf, and the grilled salmon. I’m such a picky eater but everything is so good. We come almost every tuesday. All the protein is so tender and the sides are basic but the absolute tastiest (rice and veggies). It seems a little dead lacking customers, it’s amazing I wish more people went there.”

“Dined in with some friends from out of town who hadn't yet experienced a Runza. They said it was good, but everybody knows the burgers are far superior. It was a pleasant experience but they forgot one of our items. It did make for some comedy - we were just commenting how novel it is they still mumble your order through the mic. When the gal asked the back why they didn't have that item ready, the reply was "you didn't say it on the mic". "Well, it was on the ticket wasn't it?" LOL. I'm sure this was just a fluke. I liked the history of Runza photos on the walls.”

“We stopped here during a staff retreat, and everyone enjoyed themselves. The service was friendly and helpful—as well as accommodating for a group of 10. Everyone's food looked delicious. I got the brisket and bacon sandwich with the sweet potato fries, definitely recommend it. I even got a side of BBQ sauce to dip it. I tried a coworkers buffalo wings. I'm not a buffalo guy at all, but I thought their sauce actually had pretty good flavor. All in all, definitely would recommend this spot if you're in town.”

“Visited with another couple on a Tuesday night for dinner. More of a neighborhood dive bar - spacious but no real ambiance and no greeting or acknowledge upon entering. Finally seated ourselves and shortly a waitress, Katie, did greet us and took our orders. She was excellent! We all had burgers and agreed they were among the best burgers we'd had. We'll likely give it another try sometime.”

“RK's is a treasure that I feel fortunate to have stumbled upon in the small town of Malmo Nebraska. It is truly a step back in time. The town folk were catching up on the weeks news, the weather and their families. The young man that helped us was waiting tables cooking and tending bar.
