  I picked up my dog Charlie from the animal shelter. He was howling (neighbor complained) and sucking his right foot. Saw Dr Winn who prescribed medication for separation anxiety and a shot for allergies. Thanks to Dr Winn I don't have to take him back to the shelter.
  
  When Charlie needs follow-up and Dr Winn isn't in, the other Vets are very helpful.
  
  Charlie hates getting his nails trimmed. VCA Black Mountain is full service with a bath and nail trim.
  
  Charlie is about 6 years old. With VCA Black Mountain care I know he will live much longer.

  This is the best veterinarian in Vegas!! My cat hates strangers, but every time we've come here, she loves the staff. Everyone who works there is very professional and kind. Prices are fair, exam rooms are clean, overall a wonderful place!

  I have used this vet since I moved to Nevada almost a decade ago, I adore Dr Winn and the staff here, they feel like my family by now. I trust them completely even when it’s bad news, I know the outcomes can’t always be great. It’s cool when they are too! Anyhow i and all my family use Vca Black Mountain and I can’t imagine going anywhere else.

  My dog max had a growth on his back paw. I found a coupon online for a free first visit. They said he needed surgery to have it removed and even tried to drain it while I was there. They gave him 2 kinds of meds but that don’t help. The lump was solid and got bigger. I called and scheduled the surgery for a week later. They removed the mass and all other little warts and skin tags. I showed the doctor where they were hiding because many couldn’t be seen and even when petting him they were hard to find. Got his ears cleaned for an extra 50$ and also his teeth. I dropped him off in the am and picked him up after work. They were so kind and helped me get him to the car. It was a process. He was not happy and refusing to walk. They made a sling out of towel and got him into the car even though he was trying to bite them (including me). Even let me take the towel. Thankfully no harm was done and he’s now recovering. Shots must be updated if having surgery and flu shot is also mandatory. They did all of his shots before the surgery. It was a little under 1k, I chose not to have testing done on the mass and warts because that was an extra 280. Overall this vet is super nice and u can tell they truly care about your pet.

  I cannot say enough good things about this VCA location. Everyone that works there has been so caring with our dogs. They take the time to explain all of your options for the care of your pet and always let you know what needs to be done for the best outcome for any issues that come up. I feel lucky to have found a vet in Vegas that takes feelings into consideration and understands that our labs are more than just dogs, they are family.
