DMV Appointments

Had my appointment today. Experience was nothing like most people have described. Two security guards at the door and a DMV employee making sure all who were in the appointment line actually had an appointment. And were asked to have our ID’s ready. Everyone was allowed in with appointments and within social distancing guidelines. This location is well organized. Front counter check in and issued application along with number in queue. Given enough time to sit and complete application. Listened for my number and window number to be announced. Which didn’t take very long. Young lady who accepted my application was professional and courteous. Processed my application, payment. And directed me to the line for my DL photo. Easy peasy!! Also, bringing too much documentation is definitely a good thing!! I overheard one too many conversations where customers didn’t have all their necessary documentation and were told they had to make another appointment. Please refer to their website regarding required documentation for whatever your needs are!!

Got a new read I.D. driver license with veterans endorsement and registered a new car with vanity plates. Make sure you bring ALL paperwork (too much is a good thing). All the above was done in a few minutes, great service.

The down side was having to wait for 2 months for an appointment.
