This school was so awesome
My daughter went to school here for a few years before we moved. We drove almost 20 miles to get there each day for the first year.. that should tell you how much we liked it. The staff is excellent and they are caring people who really treat the kids with respect and care.
My daughter started at this school the very first year that they opened and we have been there ever since. My son is now attending, about to graduate kindergarten. The staff and the school atmosphere are all amazing.
I absolutely love this school, my daughter started kindergarten last school year,currently on 1st grade,and I can say that teachers,principal and all the staff realy care about every kid,as some other moms said,is like a family,there is a great sense of community, no bad behavior allowed,kids learn at their own pace,and they are ahead of what they would be learning at a public school at all levels.
Some things you have to consider before choosing this school for your kids are: There is a lot of fun activities thru the school year,and although they are NOT mandatory,you soon realize that for the kids is important to participate and that's why it feels like a community.
Parent's involvement is expected, the Montessori philosophy involves not only the academic part,it prepares kids for life,and it needs to be continued at home.
There is only one thing that is not so good for me,the school building doesn't have full walls to divide each classroom ,so sometimes it can be a little noisy and kids with sensory issues have trouble with that (my daughter is one) but she can live with that and would not change her school for any other.
