(October 4, 2018, 7:44 pm)the library pretty much has everything you need. It's very spacious and even a quiet room that you can go and read in. It was a little bit too cold in there and some of the magazines are taken off the shelf and you have to request them at the counter.

After writing to the Branch Manager, I received a response from her apologizing for the incident posted below. I really appreciated that she took the time to respond and take responsibility for what happened, and most importantly it felt genuine. Because of her actions, I wanted to update my review, and say that I would definitely be up for making another visit again, and look forward to having my usual pleasant experience.

I visit this library at least once a week and normally have a great experience. When I go and take my four children ages 9, 8, 6, and 8 months. We usually spend most of our time on the children's side, and today was no different except I had to print out some time sensitive documents. I took my 8 month old and 6 year old to the adult side to print. As I was collecting my documents I was approached by one of the librarians who said my baby was shrieking and if he continued that I would have to leave. I was appalled, disgusted, and quite honestly felt discriminated against. She continued to talk about me, in front of me, to other coworkers saying that I seemed nice enough and my baby was cute but that he was too loud. My baby is 8 months old. He was not crying, he was not making non stop noise. He was babbling and making other baby noises randomly as infants do. We were not there to disrupt or cause a bad experience for the other guests. I had to use the printer and planned on going back to the children's side after to finish reading and picking out books with my other children. I will never go back to this library again. Kids will be kids and make noise. I can see if I was letting my children run wild and be disruptive, however that was not the case. And for a library that offers children and baby story hours to harass me while briefly handling business on the non children's side is baffling and discriminatory. -
