Petroglyph Canyon Trailhead

Beautiful adventure for my fiancé and I. I'd share my pictures of the petroglyphs but I don't want to spoil it for others! We spotted several on our hike. Nice easy one, and good to get you out of the city for a few short hours. We're not super experienced hikers or too active so it was really just mostly beautiful and peaceful. Just enough climbing to satisfy and have a fun challenge!

Just follow the rules and everything will be fine. It's a great quiet place. Practice basic safety and have a plan for injuries.

Great spot and spectacular petroglyphs. The trail is pretty easy with a couple ~4-5' rock obstacles. Overall a great spot to spend the morning

What a great little hike. Since it being our first time doing the hike, it took us about two hours to take the 100 and then the 200. We played a lot in the petroglyph area so that took up sometime taking photos. If you like to use walking sticks, on the 200 part of the route would be great to use them. I'm happy that no dogs are on this Trail! Maybe owners should be better caretakers and clean up after their animals. The gates on the road, to get to the trailhead don't open until 8 a.m. .

An amazing place to see petroglyphs up close and personal. There is a concentration of 50+ petroglyphs at the end of the 100 trail just before it merges with the 200 & 300 trails.
