The experience was phenomenal. I particularly enjoyed our tour guide, Dylan. I was looking for the perfect rock to take back home as a souvenir and he got me the most beautiful and shiny rock. Dylan was flexible, patient and very knowledgeable about kayaking. I liked that he went back to get someone from the group that was behind. Overall a great experience that I recommend for everyone.

Clayton was an amazing tour guide. Kept us entertained, educated us and had a good bit of banter with all guests, keeping everyone engaged. He took pictures for us and was great to get different angles/options, and gave us time to enjoy the stops along the way.
So glad we decided to take this tour and 100% would recommend to others.

I would highly recommend booking the Hover Dam Kayaking tour. I am glad I booked the Hover Dam tour for our girls' weekend. The hot springs were a hit for all of us. Robby was a great tour guide. I would recommend asking for him as your guide. He was very professional, encouraging, and knowledgeable. Robby made us feel like we were 5 🌟 .
The owners even met up with us and thanked us for booking with them. Booking was super easy.

Booked our trip via Viator for a Sunday morning at 10 am. Prior to meeting our group, communications with the operator was excellent. They confirmed our reservation via text the day before and sent a reminder the morning of. And…it was a real person vs machine automated. The tour departed as scheduled with a total of 11 and Dylan as our tour leader. The drive to the drop off was about an hour to Willow Beach which had a cute store/gift shop and clean bathrooms. The kayak portion (to Emerald Cave) was a little over two miles. The actual “cave” was a bit disappointing (we were already forewarned by a friend who had done this tour) but the kayaking portion was beautiful and relaxing. The cave is actually just a small alcove where you back your kayak in to and look out into the river where the sunlight reflects on the algae which creates the beautiful emerald reflection. There’s a stop at Bob’s beach where you have an option for a short walk up Bob’s (a historic river gauger) path. A friend and I opted to stay and soak up the sun at the beach. While there, another tour from this operator was there and their tour guide, Johnny, was SO fun and engaging, taking cool pictures with his group. He staged their kayak and we asked if we could jump in for a picture and he was more than welcoming. A big shout out to Johnny!! We wished Dylan would have been more engaging and attentive to our group. The extra star is for Johnny!!

I had a wonderful time on my kayak adventure to Willow Beach! It was absolutely beautiful. Jake the tour guide was so nice, helpful and genuine. He was very laid back and allowed us all to enjoy the adventure while keeping us safe and helping whenever needed. I would recommend this to all people. They had all the supplies we needed everything was in good shape and everything was organized very well.
