“I'm Lino Zackary Manglona Tenorio and just wanted you all to know what Ive experienced. I'm a Wounded Warrior that got Medical Discharge from the Army due to injuries I sustained twice in Iraq. If your wondering why Im saying this is because i was a Staff Sergeant (E-6) Promotable to Sergeant First Class (E-7) which is similar to a Supervisor promotable to Manager (In Charge of 16-18 soldiers) but not only do we train our soldiers (Employee) on there job but to also prepare them for the worst (War) and my job was to look for explosive or anything that deals with explosive and due to being injured twice at war (October 22, 2006 & January 20, 2007) and to assist Infantry or Military Police on there mission by raiding into houses and much more. Even getting wounded from a 500 pound explosive land mine and getting medivac back to the U.S (Washington State, Fort Lewis) I still volunteer to return back to Iraq a few months before everyone return back. I am now using a wheelchair to get around due to my injuries i sustained but it is what it is. I just moved to Henderson Nevada but from my experience stopping by Salvation Army on March 05 2019 around 10:00am I now want to attend the mass they have on Sunday. I now want to attend the mass one day. Thank to all the people I came across.”

“I've been attending Neighborhood Church now for a little over 2 years. I can honestly say... it's Home on this side of Heaven for me. God has brought me to Neighborhood, where everyone knows your name! The people here, friendly & welcoming! This church existed before the city of Henderson was incorporated. God had/has/have a plan for this church. They are a very small church but have an impact on their community - thru homelessness, prison & rehab ministries and more. The Senior Pastor preaches strictly from the Word & keeps it ????all the time! It's real & raw! The Holy Spirit moves mightily here. Check it out for yourself! “We are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This is our meeting place for Sunday services (Sacrament meeting, Sunday School and men's or women's groups). We have meeting times at 9am, 10:30am, and 12pm. Visitors are always welcome. We occasionally have activities during the week--for youth especially, but once a month for women (18 and older) and holiday activities for everyone to attend (Christmas, Halloween, or patriotic festivities). If you are interested in knowing more, please come to our Sunday services or stop the missionaries (they always travel in pairs and have a black and white nametag; the men are always in white dress shirts and ties while the women are either in skirts or business slacks).”

“Although I started regularly attending church as a preteen, it would take over 30 years for me to come into the knowledge of the truth. Once I committed myself to studying the church Jesus established, the biblical church, II came to the realization that I had never been in that church. I then researched churches to determine which churches were modeled after the biblical church. I was surprised to find only one,, The Churches of Christ, that is teaching what Jesus taught for people to join God’s family! I was on the wide path of religion for over 30 years, hell bound right through a church. There is a difference between a church and Gods church, and all believers have the responsibility of studying to know the difference. All paths do not lead to God, and all churches do not teach the biblical gospel. The Bible tells us that there are only a few that find the narrow path that leads to eternal life! Theres is only one church, and that church was established by Jesus in Acts 2 and the Apostles fervently taught the process of becoming a Christian as depicted in the New Testament! We are commanded to maintain the integrity of the original and only gospel of Jesus. Are you in Gods church, or a church that preaches something other than the gospel of Jesus Christ?”

“This is a great church that I'm glad to call home. There are services at 8:00 and 10:30 on Sundays (9 and 10:30 in the summer) plus an evening service on Mondays at 7:30. The earlier Sunday service is more traditional with hymns, and the later service is up tempo and has more modern songs. Both the pastors here are very friendly without coming across as nosey or insincere. They do a fantastic job teaching and explaining God's word, keeping sermons interesting each week and really helping me relate to and understand the Bible and God's love. Every week I leave with more knowledge of both. As a mom I appreciate that children are welcome at services (you'd be amazed by how quiet they all are!) but they do have a nursery/toddler play room available as well. It's nice to have a place to take my son (there is someone to watch the kids at the later service only) but at the same time I know I won't get any funny looks for bringing him into the pews with me. During the school year Sunday school Bible study is in session. There's also a preschool and kindergarten attached to the church, and a mom's group that gets together every week.”
