(July 16, 2020, 5:35 pm)I love this doctor's office and have been verr happy with the care inhave received but I wish they were better about sending my referrals to places I am referred. I have had issues with every place I've been sent due to referrals not being sent.

(February 17, 2019, 6:59 pm)MAMMOVAN: I went here for a self-referred mammogram. It was free of cost. Previously, I had used West Valley Imaging, but they closed suspiciously without notice, and the last mammogram that I had with WVI, I had gotten hurt by their technician.
A problem for some women is that many of these diagnostic centers require a referral from their physician, so there are two sets of medical bills to pay if the patient is not covered by insurance. Some women only have enough money to pay for either a doctor's visit, or a mammogram, but not both. If providers require a referral from a doctor, then if a woman does not have the money for a mammogram on top of a doctor's visit, they can get the referral, but will be out of luck.
The Mammovan did not require a referral (as I am over 40) and they were very professional, it was extremely quick, and the staff was kind. Their location at the Cambridge Community Center was very easy to find and there was no waiting. The Mammovan will be incorporating the new 3D technology very soon, to my understanding.
I am so grateful for the service they provide to the community and to the women of Las Vegas! If you are under 40 and do not have a doctor's referral, I would suggest calling them to see whether a referral is required. Regardless, I would choose to use this place even if I needed to get a referral because they are professional, kind, centrally located, and easy to find. -
