Don Tortaco Mexican Grill #7

We order Chicken Chimichanga and Shrimp burrito, which was good and a healthy size. The rice was pretty good didn't like the beans. I would go back but would skip the beans next time.

Don Tortaco's has good good & the staff always gets my order right. I switched from one of the popular franchise Mexican restaurants in the neighborhood due to their inability to get my order right. I will go to Don's from now on.

No issues at all with our visit, everything was great!

Spacious restaurant, with tons of room for a crowd. Staff was very polite and friendly (even the cooks said good morning from the kitchen!). Prices were good, and even lower than advertised on the menu board when I looked at the receipt!

Our burritos were piping hot when they came out, a bit narrower and longer than a comparable burrito at Roberto's, which is nice because you don't get as messy like a wider burrito. The most impressive thing was a the complete lack of grease towards the bottom; normally breakfast burritos (or any burritos, really) can collect a lot of grease at the bottom and even blow out the tortilla. These were grease-free, and the tortilla was cooked perfectly, it was thick, soft, and chewy. Green sauce had some great kick, red sauce was a bit too hot for breakfast, but good nonetheless.

Definitely give these guys a try, we'll be coming back to try a combination plate sometime, I'll update the review if anything changes.
