Best Jiu Jitsu in Las Vegas ! Coach Robert and Marcello know what they're talking about! The environment is respectful and full of positive vibes I highly recommend for self defense, fitness or for mma fighters the team is really welcoming! Full of killers! Go check them out!
This place is so awesome. I just started taking classes as a brand new, no experience student and couldn’t love it more. Everyone is super friendly, helpful and welcoming. If you’re thinking of starting bjj or already have experience and wanna drop in on a class, this is your sign to go for it! 6/5 stars ⭐️
I love when I have an opportunity to visit Drysdale’s anytime I am in or near Las Vegas, this place awesome. Prof. Robert Drysdale is a wealth of knowledge, very experienced grappler & martial artist, and a great coach with an awesome fight IQ. His academy is very spacious and beautifully set up. Clean place, and awesome staff. I finally got to meet “Cammy” (staff), she has been helping me out a ton with Gi & other items to purchase prior to my arrival, and was greeted very warmly. Everyone should visit this place, try it out, then get plugged in. Jiu-Jitsu is more than just a sport, it is a way of life. Jiu-Jitsu can give you options when in a possible sketchy urban environment, it can give possibly give you the tools to survive an altercation, which is the reason you should also join their “striking” class to supplement your BJJ for those possible “real life” encounters in a confined space scenerio. As for me, BJJ helps me mentally, physically, & spiritually, to deal with the stresses of everyday. I am a US Army veteran, and it helps me channel my stress elsewhere and gives me a reason to keep fighting the good fight.
I came here to train while visiting Las Vegas and couldn't be happier about my experience. The staff, teachers, and students, were very friendly and welcoming, the school is large with tons of mat space, and the environment is very clean. If I lived in Las Vegas this would definitely be my school, and anytime I come for a visit I'll be dropping in.
Vegas has a lot of options on good gyms to choose from however i think as a Jiu Jitsu Competitor i get the best training Vegas has to offer right here at Drysdale's. We even have a lot of people who just do jj as a hobby and even they're bad a*s!
Drysdale's gives you a wide variety of classes to choose from along with multiple time slots - ALL with high level professors/instructors/teachers.
We even have a shnasy all women's class if you don't want to train with smelly sweaty men. (We're pretty cool so come train with us.)
In conclusion - I gotta say going to a new gym was nerve wracking but so far I've felt nothing but love from everyone here. It's so family oriented, no drama, welcoming and encouraging you have a friend in everyone you can think of; from the training partners to the parents all the way down to the staff.
Thanks guys!
