(March 17, 2019, 6:37 pm)What a great little walk for a nice day. The paths are pea gravel, so they're not muddy. A lot of teaching opportunities for the kids. Nicely built and well maintained. Restrooms, water fountains, and tables. I'm not sure if I would take a wheelchair on the trail, but in the center would be fine.

(January 27, 2019, 7:27 am)I love this place. It's one of the largest wildlife refuge in the United States. Start at the visitor center then venture forth. There are nice trails, a big desert, ruins from settler days, mountains, and big sky. It's awesome!!!

(December 12, 2018, 11:14 pm)Nice little visitors center with a walking path around it in the middle of nowhere. It's great compared to what's around it, just rather small. The actual area of the place is huge and lots of dirt/gravel/river rock roads behind the refuge.

(December 11, 2018, 10:38 pm)Such a friendly team of folks here. The couple at the visitor's center and cabin were more than accommodating and helpful in providing information. There were very few people during my visit, which also contributed to a peaceful and enjoyable experience. If you want to see the last remaining Pahrump Pool Fish, this is the place to go.

(December 11, 2018, 8:21 pm)Awesome place to visit. Unfortunately the visitors center was closed (Monday & Tuesday) but the trails behind the visitors center are fantastic. Well maintained, firm, smooth, wide and a very easy walk. The restrooms are clean with soap and the hand dryers worked. They were even open despite the visitor center being closed.
