Kristie is hands down, the best Harpist in Las Vegas. In an industry where talent is beyond a must, Kristie shines in her teaching ability and performances.
My daughter has studied harp with Kristie Smith for 4 years. My daughter has grown so much in that time in her level of playing and musicality. Kristie is highly educated and has been able to direct my daughter to repertoire choices that not only are beautiful, but challenge her and help her advance in her playing, while offering some freedom for style choice as well. Kristie is great at giving feedback, offering positive feedback as well as needed correction. Kristie's knowledge of the repertoire, history, technique, and theory are excellent and I feel like my daughter is getting a well rounded education in harp. Kristie is also incredibly supportive and goes to great efforts to attend important performances and rehearsals. Highly recommend!
She is an awesome harpist and teacher! My girl has learned from her for two years, and I cannot emphasize more how lucky of us was to meet such a nice teacher. Thanks to her, my girl won numerous competitions, including The Silver State competition. If anyone wants to learn harp, she is the person to go for!
I was visiting Las Vegas and wanted to have a harp lesson. Kriste was fantastic. She is incredibly well educated and knowledgeable. She was able to help me with my technique and give me a new outlook on my existing songs. Thank you for your time and energy.
