Nevada Treatment Center/Nevada Care Center is the actual name of this place, & I wish there was a more accurate posting for it here on Google Maps, because it's by far the best treatment center I've ever been to. It is a 3-story building, Methadone & Suboxone treatment for opiate addiction is just ONE of the many services they offer here. They also deal with mental health issues & have many wonderful counselors, doctors, psychiatrists, & nursing staff. So if you ARE an addict, they'll also help you deal with any underlying mental health problems you may be facing, such as anxiety & depression. For me that was the missing puzzle piece. I have been on methadone for over 5years, & while I did manage to quit using heroin at my old clinic, everything else in my life remained pretty much stagnant for the 5years I was there. I realize much of that was my fault, because you get out what you put in, but the counselors there just didn't ever really try to connect with me or give me the little push I needed to succeed. It was just a 5-10 minute check-in session once a month & that's all I ever heard from them. Plus, whenever I DID start to feel comfortable with a counselor & start to open up, she'd quit or transfer & I'd get stuck with someone new. In the not even 2 months since I've switched to Nevada Treatment Center, my life has already started to change for the better. My counselor helps me work on REAL issues that will benefit my life, & actually listens to what I have to say. ALL the staff here make you feel like they WANT to see you succeed, you're not just another name on their case-load & it is SO refreshing. I'd advise anyone who is serious about their recovery to try this methadone clinic first. Don't waste 5years someplace where you're just a dollar sign like I did.
